Born Lourdes, France.
1962 Moves from Paris to New York City.
1963

Met photographer Lisette Model and was introduced to Alexey Brodovitch, legendary art director of Harper's Bazaar and Modernist pioneer of magazine art direction.
1963-66 Studied at his Design Laboratory.
1966 Receives international recognition for Alexey Brodovitch portrait.
1966-68 Photographed The Bread and Puppet Theatre.
1968

Met Dominico Paulon, an exceptional Italian artist who's sensibility and refinement of the art was a mentor and had strong influenced in Marc's creative process.
1968-72

Explores abstract forms through movement, form, and light with dancers Mirjam Berns and Jeff Slayton resulting into "Photo Rhythm" series, largely choreographed by Viola Farber.
1972-92 Faculty Member of "Parson The New School for Design" and "The New School". Conducts intermediate, advanced and master classes in photography.
1972-78
Explore elements of form and light in architectural context with one camera, one lens, and natural light resulting in the "Cityscapes" series.
1975-80 "Wallscapes" - A photographic study of natural collages on New York City walls.
1980
Met photographer Joyce Baronio and collaborated on "Shot on Location", a film experience into the mind of John Hinkley, Jr., the man who tried to assassinate President Reagan.
1980-86 Photographed Versailles gardens and Paris statuaries as a metaphors for French culture.
1986-89 Produced and direct "Life of the Imagination", a film portrait of photographer Joyce Baronio.
1989 "New York Motion", a book of New York City night life panoramas. Produced and edited by Masami Matsui.
1990-93
Directed and produced "Tai Chi in New York", a ninety-minute Tai Chi video in collaboration with Master Meng Shan-Fu.
1993 Start photographing nature with large format camera.
1996-98 "Tree" series.
1998-00 "Ginseng" series.
2001-06 "Spirits of the forest".
2006-08 "Spirits of the vineyard".
2009 "New York Fresco Pop".
